The 8th Galbán Solidarity March is set to take place, continuing its mission to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer. This annual event, which has garnered significant community support, highlights the importance of solidarity in the fight against this illness.
In addition to the march, a series of cultural and educational activities will be held at the local library in Arriondas. These events include:
- Monday, 20 April: Library visit to CPR of Arriondas from 11:00 to 12:00.
- Tuesday, 21 April: Storytelling session titled "Vamos a contar cuentos" at El Castañal School at 11:00.
- Wednesday, 22 April: Creative workshop "Marcajginas creativos" at the library for schoolchildren at 11:00.
- Thursday, 23 April: Celebration of World Book Day at the library featuring a performance by the Pola de Sella Music Band at 11:00.
- Friday, 24 April: "Academia de detectives" workshop led by Susana García at the library at 17:00. Registration is available at the Casa de Cultura.
These events aim to engage the community in cultural activities while supporting a vital cause.
