Alicante True Crime hosts discussions with David Alemán, Carlos Sedes and Alicia Giménez Bartlett

Alicante True Crime returns to the Espacio Séneca this Friday, featuring prominent figures from the 'noir' genre, including writer and presenter David Alemán, film director Carlos Sedes, and acclaimed author Alicia Giménez Bartlett. The event will run until Sunday, encompassing literature, film, series, documentaries, and podcasts related to the crime genre.

In addition to the headline authors, the programme includes contributions from journalists such as Francisco Pérez Caballero, creator of the award-winning podcast 'El señor de los crímenes', as well as local journalists, police officers, and detectives.

A new feature this year is the 'Círculo Poirot' programme, which introduces the concept of a 'Reading Party', expanding the traditional idea of a book club. This initiative was launched last Thursday at the Florida Babel library, attracting a large audience eager to explore the world of Agatha Christie, the legendary mystery writer, on the 50th anniversary of her death. The session was guided by Santiago Álvarez, director of Alicante True Crime, along with other professionals.
