The Area of European Affairs, Energy and Tourism of the Provincial Government of Ávila is set to offer two online training sessions and a face-to-face workshop for tourism entrepreneurs in the province, aimed at exploring the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in managing and developing their projects. The initiative is scheduled to run from October to November 2026.
Armando García Cuenca, the provincial deputy for European Affairs, Energy and Tourism, explained, “This training is specifically designed for the tourism sector, allowing businesses to acquire more effective AI and social media tools to enhance their digital presence as the high season comes to a close.”
The online sessions, which require prior registration, will teach participants how to improve their image on social media and utilise these platforms for promotional purposes, while keeping abreast of current market trends and innovations. García Cuenca added, “The sessions, titled ‘Practical AI for your business’ and ‘AI and social media content’, will take place on 19, 20, 26, and 28 October.”
Additionally, a face-to-face workshop is scheduled to be held at the Casa del Parque Pinos Cimeros in Hoyos del Espino. This workshop aims to provide a practical application of the knowledge gained during the online sessions, allowing participants to personalise and implement these tools to optimise their businesses. The workshop will have a limited capacity, adhering to the room's restrictions at the Casa del Parque.
