Cáceres province showcases culinary delights at III Feria Agroalimentaria Espiga in Badajoz

The Diputación de Cáceres is actively participating in the III edition of the Feria Agroalimentaria Espiga, organised by Caja Rural de Extremadura, aimed at highlighting the quality products from the Extremadura region. Running from 16 to 20 October at IFEBA in Badajoz, this fair provides a significant platform for promoting Extremaduran products to both the general public and industry professionals.

As a collaborating entity, the provincial institution has set up its own stand, where it is promoting tourism in the province with a focus on gastronomic experiences. This year’s event features a wide array of food products from the province, showcased in a display that particularly highlights items from the tourist initiative “Sabores y Paisajes Tierras de Cáceres y Trujillo,” including figs and rice. Additionally, a selection of oils from companies involved in the European project “Oleoturismo España” will also be featured.

The Area of Sustainable Development and Tourism of the Diputación de Cáceres is promoting cultural, historical, and natural tourist resources that enhance the gastronomic experience for visitors. Attendees at the Diputación de Cáceres stand will find various promotional materials, including general guides of the province and thematic guides focused on gastronomy and oleotourism, as well as tourism bags.

This year’s Feria Espiga boasts two distinguished ambassadors, renowned chefs Toño Pérez and Dani García, who are celebrated both nationally and internationally.
