Castilla-La Mancha government to consider strategic business investment law

Guadalajara, 5 October 2026 - The Council of Government of Castilla-La Mancha will consider a draft law on Strategic Business Investments tomorrow, aimed at further attracting investment to the region. This announcement was made today in Guadalajara by the President of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, during the inauguration of new facilities for CEOE-Cepyme in the city.

García-Page described the proposed law as a tool that could channel significant financial resources for various investments, highlighting that the region has accumulated special procedures over the years that will continue to foster growth. He stated, "Castilla-La Mancha will continue to grow and will outpace the national average in both population and business generation, leading the rankings of business confidence."

Accompanying the president were the regional Minister of Economy, Business and Employment, Patricia Franco, and the President of the Cortes of Castilla-La Mancha, Pablo Bellido. The new facilities for the business association include a training center, which the president expressed hope would operate effectively.

Regarding vocational training, García-Page noted the positive evolution in Castilla-La Mancha, stating that "the training is changing the reality of many companies," and added that nearly all vocational training in the region is now linked to dual training with businesses.

He also acknowledged the uncertainty of the job market in the next decade, emphasizing the importance of relying on effective institutions during times of rapid transformation.
