Lucena will host the fourth edition of the Citroën 2CV and derivatives gathering on Sunday, 18 October, featuring approximately 70 classic vehicles. The event, organised by the local tourism delegation, aims to showcase these iconic cars while supporting a charitable cause.
The day will kick off at 9:00 AM at the Citroën Tobalo dealership, where participants will register and enjoy breakfast before heading to the Jewish Necropolis for a guided tour. Following the visit, the vehicles will be parked around El Coso and the slope of Castillo del Moral, allowing locals and visitors to admire them until 2:00 PM.
This gathering is expected to attract enthusiasts from various parts of Andalusia and has a strong charitable focus. All registration fees will be donated to the Emuná CHD8 Syndrome Association, a non-profit organisation that supports individuals affected by this rare genetic condition and their families, as well as promoting medical research. Notably, the first diagnosed case of this syndrome was in a girl from Lucena.
