Cultural offerings at the Adolfo Suárez cultural centre in Tres Cantos this October

The Adolfo Suárez cultural centre in Tres Cantos is set to feature an array of cultural events throughout October, catering to audiences of all ages. The programme includes comedy shows, family theatre, and live music performances.

On the weekends of 24 and 31 October, the centre will host double sessions of comedy monologues. The first performance, 'Intermitente' by Carlos Martínez, will take place on Saturday 24 October at 19:00 and 20:30. This show combines monologue, improvisation, and live music, with audience interaction playing a key role in the performance. Martínez, who has a long-standing connection with La Chocita del Loro in Gran Vía, incorporates personal experiences, original songs, and improvisation, making each show unique.

Following this, Álex Gozalo will present '¿Quién quiere ser adulto?' on Saturday 31 October, also featuring two sessions at the same times. This monologue, characterised by its sharp humour and live music, allows audience members to choose the topics discussed, following a format inspired by 'choose your own adventure' books. This interactive approach ensures that the performance evolves based on the audience's decisions.

Both comedians blend stand-up comedy with improvisation and music in their performances. Gozalo's shows are known for their direct engagement with the audience, while Martínez's work reflects his extensive experience in theatrical circuits.

Tickets for these events are available through the platform www.giglon.com and at the box office of the Adolfo Suárez cultural centre during regular hours.

Live rehearsal and family theatre

The cultural offerings will also include a live rehearsal by the Ciudad de Tres Cantos Symphony Band on Friday 23 October at 19:00. This event, open to the public, will provide attendees with an insight into the band's rehearsal process.

Additionally, on Sunday 25 October at 12:00, Arteluna Teatro will present 'Cucú-trastrás, a Pinocho conocerás', a family-friendly performance that introduces young audiences to the world of the beloved character created by Carlo Collodi. This free event will allow children to embark on various adventures with Pinocho, his father Geppetto, and the Blue Fairy through play and theatre.

For further information on these performances and other cultural initiatives in the city, residents can visit the official channels of the Tres Cantos City Council.
