On October 3, 2026, Diego Calvo, the Conseller of Presidency, Justice and Sports, attended the award ceremony for the twelfth edition of the Rally Rías Altas in A Coruña. The event brought together approximately 80 drivers.
The rally, organized by the Rallye Rías Altas club, was the penultimate event of the Spanish Historic Rally Championship and featured eight timed stages across the municipalities of Monfero, Aranga, Irixoa, and Paderne.
Daniel Alonso and Sergio Fernández, driving a Ford Escort MKII, emerged victorious in the speed category.
