The Diputación de Girona and Girona FC have renewed their collaboration agreement for another four seasons, extending until June 2030. This extension solidifies a partnership aimed at promoting the Girona regions and enhancing the positioning of the Costa Brava and the Pyrenees, leveraging the national and international reach of the club.
The renewal continues a relationship between two institutions closely linked to the territory, both committed to using sport as a platform to promote the Girona regions. Girona FC will continue to showcase the main tourist attractions of the area to its audiences and fans.
Under the new agreement, the Costa Brava - Pyrenees of Girona brand will maintain a prominent presence alongside the men's first team. One of the key aspects of the agreement is that the brand will be visible on the team's official match warm-up shirts and training gear.
In addition to brand visibility, the agreement includes plans to develop promotional actions and content that highlight the diversity of the territory and its destinations and experiences. These initiatives aim to reach new audiences by utilising the channels and visibility of Girona FC.
Delfí Geli, president of Girona FC, commented on the renewal: “For Girona FC, it is very important to continue progressing alongside the Diputación de Girona. We are a club deeply rooted in the Girona regions, and we want our growth and projection to also serve to promote the territory we represent. Renewing this agreement until 2030 demonstrates our commitment to building this long-term relationship.”
