On October 10, 2026, Councilor for People, Gala de la Calzada, congratulated the Cofradía de Nuestra Señora del Calvario in Albacete on its 10th anniversary during a Solemn Eucharist held in honor of Our Lady of Calvary at the Parish of the Sagrada Familia.
During the ceremony, she expressed gratitude for the significant daily work the Cofradía performs to enhance Albacete's Holy Week, which has been declared a National Tourist Interest. The councilor joined the members of the Cofradía in this commemorative celebration, emphasizing the strong commitment of the City Council to preserve and promote religious traditions, as well as to support the brotherhoods and cofraternities in Albacete to keep alive the cultural and devotional heritage of Holy Week.
