immersive exhibition 'arte para sentir' opens in albacete to make contemporary art accessible to all

the casa perona exhibition hall has launched the immersive exhibition 'arte para sentir', an innovative cultural initiative showcasing the work of ten artists. the exhibition is open to the public free of charge until 30 october.

organised by the adelanthe clm association in collaboration with amiab, the regional government of castilla-la mancha, and the provincial council, 'arte para sentir' transforms the casa perona into a hub for creativity, innovation, and social awareness. it aims to highlight the talent of creators from various artistic fields, fostering dialogue between disciplines and bringing contemporary art closer to diverse audiences.

during the opening, attended by juani garcía, the provincial delegate for health, the significance of art as a tool for social inclusion and cultural transformation was emphasised. the event underscored the importance of diversity and the need to provide cultural proposals in albacete that cater to all audiences, highlighting the relevance of creating accessible spaces where everyone can enjoy and participate in the artistic and cultural life of the province.

in a departure from traditional exhibitions, 'arte para sentir' encourages visitors to touch the artworks, with the experience enhanced by blindfolds to promote tactile exploration. the exhibition features works by artists including javier caballero, gato maffi, tosco, gustavo tehar, pepe cortijo, luis del castillo, rafael del castillo, beatriz álvarez, antonio alcarria, and dioni cañamares, showcasing a variety of creative expressions such as painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, textile art, and muralism.

the exhibition is open daily from 10:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:00, offering visitors a unique sensory experience where art becomes an immersive journey.
