Albacete, October 5, 2026 - Lola Serrano, the provincial delegate for Equality, visited the 'Emerging Poets' exhibition, which is a collaborative initiative of the Institute of Women and the Library of Castilla-La Mancha. This exhibition seeks to highlight the talent and journeys of new poetic voices from the region.
The showcase features poets from all five provinces of Castilla-La Mancha, including local poets María Mateo and Sara Monsalve. During her visit, Serrano engaged in discussions with them, emphasizing the importance of gender policies within the literary world.
The exhibition, which will be open until October 31 at the Public State Library, advocates for poetry as a form of artistic expression. It includes various panels, a photograph, a representative stanza, and a brief biography of each author. Additionally, a QR code is available for visitors to listen to the poems recited by their authors.
