The LXIV Fiesta Rosa del Azafrán 2026 will take place on Saturday, 24 October, at Cerro Calderico (La Cuesta), featuring the traditional Molienda de la Paz and a showcase of folklore.
Event schedule
- 16:30 - Performance by the Municipal Music School at the Rucio windmill esplanade.
- 17:00 - LXI Molienda de la Paz, dedicated to medieval Consuegra, with the distribution of commemorative bags of flour, courtesy of the Cooperativa de Consumo Consaburense.
- 17:30 - Folklore showcase at the Rucio windmill, featuring performances by:
- Grupo de Danzas San Sebastián (Reinosa – Cantabria)
- Grup de Danses d’Ibi (Ibi – Alicante)
- Escola de Música i Danses Mallorca (Palma – Illes Balears)
- Rosa del Azafrán (Consuegra – Toledo)
Note that this year, both the Molienda and the folklore showcase will be held at the Rucio windmill, a change from previous editions held at the Sancho and Bolero windmills.
A shuttle bus service will be available from the quarry (La Cuesta) starting at 15:30. Attendees are requested to be punctual.
