Molina de Segura will actively participate in the III Feria de Interior de la Región de Murcia, known as ‘Rueda’, which will be held in Totana from 16 to 18 October. This event serves as a key platform for promoting tourism, craftsmanship, and gastronomy across the municipalities of the Murcia region.
Organised by the Asociación Murcia Rueda, the fair will take place in the historic centre of Totana, specifically between the Plaza de la Constitución and the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja, with a total of twenty-four municipalities taking part.
The involvement of Molina de Segura presents a strategic opportunity to showcase its cultural identity, vibrant traditions, and valuable local products. Pilar Galindo, the municipality's tourism councillor, stated, “For the second consecutive year, Molina de Segura is participating in this fair, which allows us to further promote our cultural wealth, traditions, folklore, and gastronomy. We aim to utilise this regional showcase to highlight everything our municipality has to offer, bringing our products, customs, and identity closer to visitors and professionals, thereby consolidating Molina de Segura's presence in the tourism promotion spaces of the Murcia region.”
Molina de Segura will be represented at the fair through an information stand, with the official presentation scheduled for Saturday, 17 October, at 19:15 in the tourism presentation area of the fair. During this event, the Cuadrilla Alegría Huertana of Molina de Segura will perform a folkloric exhibition to engage attendees with local traditions.
The municipality will also highlight its gastronomy with a workshop titled ‘Elaboración de la Torta de Conde’ on Sunday, 18 October, at 12:30. This workshop will allow the public to discover and taste this traditional recipe from Molina de Segura, showcasing the area's baking and pastry-making heritage and providing a sensory experience linked to the quality and authenticity of its products.
Through its participation, Molina de Segura reaffirms its commitment to promoting its cultural, heritage, and gastronomic wealth, solidifying its presence at significant regional events.
