The fifth Chamber Music Festival in Santa Eulària is set to host its third concert with a performance by the local company Art3 on 25 October at 17:30, taking place at the Cultural Centre of Jesús. This festival continues its series of concerts, and this Sunday will present a family-friendly event.
'The fairies of dreams' is an educational concert designed to introduce young audiences to the performing arts through a combination of live music, singing, dance, and fantasy. The show will transport attendees to a magical universe inhabited by dreaming fairies, where each song reveals a story. Through various scenes, children will explore values such as friendship, respect, courage, empathy, and the importance of pursuing their dreams, in a proposal that encourages participation, imagination, and emotional engagement.
One of the main attractions will be the repertoire, featuring melodies from well-known children's films such as 'You've Got a Friend in Me' from Toy Story, 'Hakuna Matata' from The Lion King, and selections from Beauty and the Beast. Additionally, the performance will include choreography, light displays, vibrant colours, and interactive moments with the audience, transforming the concert into a participatory experience for the whole family.
The performance will be led by Art3, an artistic company from Ibiza composed of soprano Lucía Herranz, dancer and choreographer Rocío Osuna, and pianist Elvira Ramón, who have over fifteen years of experience working together. Joining them on stage will be flautist Úrsula Pomar, completing a lineup that features voice, piano, flute, and dance.
Throughout its history, Art3 has created various multidisciplinary shows where music interacts with theatre, poetry, and movement. The members have extensive artistic backgrounds: Herranz has participated in operatic productions and lyrical recitals; Osuna has been part of Aída Gómez's company, a recipient of the National Dance Award; and Ramón, the artistic director of the Chamber Music Festival, balances her concert activities with teaching and cultural project development. Pomar has experience with various orchestral formations and is currently a member of the Ibiza City Symphony Orchestra.
'The fairies of dreams' is recommended for children aged three and above, although it is designed for audiences of all ages. The show will take place this Sunday, 25 October, at 17:30 at the Cultural Centre of Jesús. Tickets can be purchased in advance for €10 plus handling fees or at the venue's box office one hour before the performance for €12.
The fifth Chamber Music Festival in Santa Eulària will conclude on Saturday, 31 October, at 19:00 with 'Portraits of Love', a recital by the Duo Vives-Laliga, featuring soprano Mar Vives and pianist Marc Laliga, also at the Cultural Centre of Jesús.
