The Municipal Public Library “José Fernández Guerra” in Nava, along with the local council, is launching the 24th Bookmark Design Competition. This year's theme celebrates the 300th anniversary of the publication of Jonathan Swift's classic, “Gulliver's Travels”.
Participants are invited to envision how they imagine Gulliver—whether as a giant or a tiny figure—using their favourite colours and creativity to transform their bookmarks into a small adventure.
The competition features four categories:
- Category A: Ages 4 to 6
- Category B: Ages 7 to 9
- Category C: Ages 10 to 12
- Category D: Ages 60 and above
All entries must be submitted by Friday, 20 March, at 14:00, at the “Marta Portal” Cultural Centre. Additionally, children in the younger categories can participate in a workshop on Tuesday, 12 March, at 17:00, also at the Cultural Centre, where materials will be provided for their designs.
