Nearly 3,000 people attended the inaugural Festa dels Serveis on 11 October, an event designed to highlight the efforts of municipal teams dedicated to maintaining the city and ensuring its smooth operation.
Participants had the opportunity to learn about various municipal services, including Mobility, Waste Collection, Street and Urban Green Cleaning, the Urban Services Network, the Local Police, Civil Protection, and Civic Agents. They discovered how these services contribute to the daily functioning of the city.
Through different stations, attendees could complete a service passport, which included various challenges related to the tasks of each team. One of the day's highlights was the chance to board some municipal vehicles and see firsthand the resources used by professionals in their daily activities.
The programme also featured a popular chocolate event and various activities, including a collaborative mural filled with drawings and messages from children about municipal services.
Mayor Albert Castells expressed gratitude for the families' participation and acknowledged the work of municipal teams serving the community. Ester Coma, the Councillor for Services, emphasised the introduction of new resources to enhance municipal service operations and noted that the festival was an excellent opportunity to raise awareness of these services.
The event concluded with a performance by Els Beta del SX3, who played for the first time in Osona. Their concert had the audience dancing and singing in the main square, wrapping up a day of discovery, engagement, and music.
