The Peña Madridista has been awarded first prize in the gastronomic event "Vinaròs de tapa en tapa," organised by the Vinaròs Tourism Department. The second prize was claimed by Unión Ciclista La Serena, while La Brasserie del Poal secured third place.
According to data from the Tourist Info office in Vinaròs, the number of valid votes increased by 31% compared to the previous edition, highlighting the positive reception of this initiative aimed at promoting local cuisine and invigorating the hospitality sector.
Mercedes García, the Councillor for Tourism, presented the awards to the winning establishments, along with two gastronomic experiences raffled among participants, which include a meal at a restaurant associated with Vinaròs Gastronòmic. García expressed her satisfaction with the response from both locals and visitors, noting that the rise in participation "demonstrates that 'De tapa en tapa' has established itself as a key gastronomic event in Vinaròs."
She also congratulated the awarded establishments and thanked all participating venues for their effort and quality proposals, as well as those who sampled the tapas and took part in the voting. Finally, the councillor encouraged citizens to continue enjoying this initiative in future editions.
