The ‘Tocats pel bolet’ photographic rally is set to celebrate its 20th edition in the Parc del Montnegre and el Corredor on 25 October. This year, the event will take place in Sant Iscle de Vallalta, encouraging participants to explore the area and photograph its natural, cultural, and historical attributes.
The competition is open to all, with three photographic themes to be announced on the day of the event at 8 am on the official website, concursfotografic.cat. Participants will have the entire day to capture their images and submit them for the contest.
Registration will occur at the Fira del Bolet in Sant Iscle de Vallalta between 9 am and 1 pm. To complete their registration, participants must take a control photograph, which must be submitted alongside their competition entries. Photographs should be submitted in JPG format at the highest camera resolution, with one image per theme. Files must be uploaded through the contest website by 11:59 pm on the same day, and late submissions or those without the control photograph will not be accepted. Additionally, the use of generative artificial intelligence for editing images is prohibited.
The competition will award a prize of €300 for the best photographic collection, along with three prizes of €150 for the best photograph in each theme. A special prize will also be available for participants aged up to 12 years. Each participant can only win one prize.
Winning and finalist photographs will be exhibited at the Museu de la Pagesia in Fogars de la Selva during December 2026 and January 2027. The results and prize-giving ceremony will take place on 14 November at 12 pm at the Information Point in Sant Iscle de Vallalta (Calle de Sant Jaume, 6).
The rally aims to promote photography as a means of observing and interpreting landscapes while respecting the environment. Participants are reminded to minimise their impact on the natural surroundings and that images deemed to have adversely affected wildlife or the environment will not be accepted by the jury.
