The Apego programme is set to continue its regular activities for children in the municipality as the year comes to a close. The next event is the performance 'Cuentos para caghar patatillas' by Brais das Hortas, which promises a blend of storytelling, music, humour, special effects, and audience participation.
This engaging show explores themes of bravery, conveying that true courage is not the absence of fear but the ability to confront it. The free event is designed for families with children aged three and older and will take place on Friday, 30 October, at 18:00 in the Casa da Cultura in Milladoiro.
Registration is open from today, 22 October, until 29 October. To participate, interested families must send an email to normalizacion@concellodesmes.gal, providing the names and ages of the children, along with a contact phone number. Late registrations will not be accepted, and places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Apego programme is a linguistic promotion initiative aimed at families expecting a baby or with children aged between 0 and 6 years. Its goal is to encourage, support, and normalise the use of Galician in early childhood socialisation, offering a range of playful and educational activities. Those interested in joining the initiative can contact the Linguistic Normalisation Service of the Concello de Ames by emailing normalizacion@concellodeames.gal or calling 662 377 215.
