Ribadeo will host the gravel rebels cycling event on 24 October, organised by Galician Gravel Cycling with the support of the Concello de Ribadeo. Registration for the event is open until 23 October.
Participants can choose from three categories: the Gravel Rebels large track, a companion menu with an extra option, and the Gravel Rebels small track. Francisco José Silvent, the town's councillor for sports, stated, “Cycling enthusiasts have an important date on 24 October in Ribadeo with the gravel rebels, which will see a maximum of 60 participants. The capacity for these events is very limited, with departures taking place in staggered groups.”
The organisers highlighted that this recent cycling format combines adventure with inclusivity, connecting Galicia with Asturias. Participants will enjoy a unique route that allows them to explore the area through gravel paths, complete with a brunch breakfast, gifts, two revised tracks, and a snack menu at the end, all in a relaxed atmosphere.
