The 'Isabel Pérez Valera' State Public Library in Ciudad Real will reopen its doors to the public on Tuesday, October 13. This reopening comes after the completion of roof repairs and the restoration of the air conditioning system, which had to be temporarily disconnected for the work to be carried out.
The announcement was made by the Vice Ministry of Culture and Sports through a circular, confirming that the library will meet the necessary environmental conditions for its regular activities starting on the indicated date. Prior to the reopening, library staff will return to their regular shifts on Thursday, October 8.
Once normal operations resume, the State Public Library will offer its usual services, including book loans, space reservations, consultations, donations, internet access, and reprography. Additionally, it will continue to provide services for groups, such as loans to entities and reading clubs, guided tours, loans to early childhood schools through the 'Petiteca' program, and a weekly agenda of events and meetings.
