The Francisco Llata Municipal Library in Liencres will host a storytelling session for the children's book titled A new home by Rocío Raba this Friday, 16 October, at 18:00. This event is part of a series of activities organised by the Culture Department in honour of Library Day, celebrated annually on 24 October.
A new home is an engaging read that is perfect for children as they approach the Halloween festivities. In the story, the protagonist moves into a rather unusual building and must explore each floor, meeting a variety of surprising neighbours along the way. Vampires, witches, monsters, and other special characters offer an unforgettable welcome. What initially seems strange soon unfolds into a valuable lesson: friendship, generosity, and respect can be found in the most unexpected places.
