'Castúa', performed by the Almor Movimiento company, will open the second semester programming of the Network of Theaters at the Centro Cultural de La Antigua on Thursday, October 8, at 8 PM. Tickets are available starting Tuesday, October 6, at a price of 5 euros, at the Centro Cultural Alcazaba and the Centro Cultural de La Antigua, during the hours of 10 AM to 2 PM and 5 PM to 8 PM.

The play is a scenic journey into the collective memory of Extremadura. Through body movement, spoken word, music, and emotion, 'Castúa' brings forth the voices that shaped this land: those who fought, those who dreamed, those who had to leave, and those who resisted oblivion. It explores significant moments in 20th-century Extremadura, from the Pedagogical Missions to the Extremaduran diaspora, including peasant uprisings and the scars of the Civil War, prompting reflections on what remains alive within us today.

Starring Sara Jiménez, the performance aims to recover the collective memory of Extremadura through an emotional and committed interpretation, symbolically linked to the land. The actress, performing solo on stage with a minimalist set design, recreates key episodes of Extremadura's history from the perspective of those who are rarely heard: women, the forgotten, and the resilient. The soundscape, created by Carlitos Perez, features sounds of the land and adapted versions such as ElCandil. The approach is emotional and sensory, carrying a strong social and cultural reflection.
