The Palace of Charles V, located within the historic Alhambra complex in Granada, will be the venue for an international conference titled "Narrating the history of Europe in the age of AI: leveraging digital technologies for effective on-site cultural mediation" on 21 and 22 October.
This event is organised by the Network of Cooperation of the Cultural Routes of Emperor Charles V, in collaboration with the University of Granada (UGR), the Alhambra and Generalife Trust, and the Yuste Foundation. It aims to gather European specialists to explore the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technologies in the dissemination, interpretation, and conservation of cultural heritage.
The conference serves as the closing activity for the European project MARY4ALL, which focuses on music and arts from the Renaissance period and aims to recover and promote female patronage through digital technologies. In addition to showcasing some of the project's outcomes, the conference seeks to facilitate the exchange of experiences and best practices among professionals in history, art, culture, tourism, and museum management, alongside experts in new technologies.
