02/10/2026 The Vall de Núria mountain station, operated by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC), has introduced a new special activities package for October. This initiative allows visitors to enjoy Pyrenean cuisine, the natural surroundings of the Vall, and a new astronomical experience to discover the magic of the night sky.
The astronomical workshop is organized in collaboration with the Parc Astronòmic del Montsec (PAM) and is suitable for all audiences. Participants will receive a comprehensive astronomical experience, starting with an informative session followed by naked-eye observation to learn about the night sky and identify prominent constellations and stars. Following this, attendees will have the opportunity to observe planets, stars, celestial objects, and the moon through telescopes, regardless of its phase.
The activity begins at 8 PM with a buffet dinner at the Hotel Vall de Núria restaurant, featuring cuisine made from local products and traditional recipes. The package, which combines gastronomy, nature, and astronomy, includes a one-way ticket with flexible timing and a return at 11 PM. It is available on October 3, 10, 24, and 31, priced at €54 for adults and €34.50 for children, with limited availability.
Vall de Núria is a year-round destination designed for enjoying the mountains at your own pace, offering activities for the whole family and experiences tailored to each season. This new package complements Vall de Núria's existing offerings, such as the relaxation package for those looking to unwind and the astronomy package for stargazing enthusiasts. The new product combines the best activities of Núria into one package for enjoying the surroundings, sky observation, and high mountain gastronomy.
