The town hall of Vinaròs has unveiled the latest edition of the Ciutat de Vinaròs Chamber Music Festival 2026, a cultural event set to fill the Municipal Auditorium with music throughout November. The festival will feature three concerts on 7, 14, and 21 November, all starting at 19:30, showcasing various musical ensembles and styles.
The programme kicks off on 7 November with Sfera Duo, a violin and piano duo. On 14 November, Quartet Cronos, comprising two violins, a viola, and a cello, will take the stage. Finally, on 21 November, Marmar Duo, featuring oboe and piano, will conclude this year's festival.
Mercedes García, the councillor for tourism, highlighted the significance of this cultural event and its popularity among the public. She stated, “All the performances carry substantial weight, and this festival is highly sought after by the community.” García also expressed gratitude to Joventuts Musicals for their efforts in organising the festival, noting that “each year they surpass expectations.”
Representatives from Joventuts Musicals emphasised the diversity of this year's programme, stating, “We believe these three varied proposals will be very well received, and we hope everyone comes to enjoy them.” The organising body also expressed pride in continuing to promote this cultural project, thanking both the town hall and the network of youth music organisations in Spain for their support.
This new edition reaffirms Vinaròs's commitment to chamber music and quality cultural programming, bringing different ensembles and instruments to the audience and solidifying its status as a key event in the city's cultural calendar.
