The event, in collaboration with Eferro workshop, features ten registered workshops from the General Register of Crafts of Galicia, showcasing various artisanal techniques and a free paper embroidery activity.

Xunta promotes commercialization of artisanal crafts at 'Artesanía de Galicia en Merza'

On October 10, 2026, the Fundación Artesanía de Galicia is hosting a new edition of Artesanía de Galicia en Merza, an initiative organized in collaboration with the Eferro workshop. This fair brings together professionals registered in the General Register of Crafts of Galicia.

The event runs from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, featuring the participation of ten workshops specializing in various fields, including jewelry making, macramé, knitting, artisanal textile dyeing, and bookbinding.

Participating workshops include:

  • Como Pez en el Agua and Nai Diseños from Vigo
  • Amora Artesanía from Crecente
  • Elgoal from A Rúa
  • Latonqueen from Santiago de Compostela
  • Materia Botánica from Vilagarcía de Arousa
  • Pilar Blanco from the Hedra workshop in Vilaboa
  • Serendipia Creativa from Viana do Bolo
  • Silvereira from Ames
  • Simedalana from Ponteareas

The program also includes a free paper embroidery workshop led by Xenuina from Santiago de Compostela, open to all audiences during the fair's hours.
