Alicante True Crime is set to return to Espacio Séneca from October 15 to 18, featuring a lineup of journalists, police officers, and detectives. The event will include renowned figures such as filmmaker Agustín Díaz Yanes and author Alicia Giménez Bartlett, alongside specialized journalists and detectives.
The festival will introduce a new program called 'El Círculo Poirot,' inspired by the concept of a 'Reading Party,' which invites participants to explore the world of Agatha Christie, marking 50 years since her death. This activity will take place on the afternoon of October 15 at the Florida Babel library.
Conferences and discussions will occur at Espacio Séneca from Friday to Sunday, organized into three main themes: 'Authors, real cases, and film noir,' 'Audiovisual, cybercrime, and Inspector Delicado,' and 'Police workshop and criminal podcasting.' Nayma Beldjilali, the Councillor for Culture, stated, 'We hope this second edition of Alicante True Crime will replicate the success of the first and that fans of the noir genre will enjoy engaging with experts.'
