Burela is set to celebrate the festa da castaña on Saturday, 7 November 2026, an event dedicated to enjoying the unique flavours of autumn while sharing an afternoon filled with music and tradition at the Praza da Mariña.
The festivities will commence at 17:00 with a performance by Gaia, followed by music from the SCR Ledicia. Beginning at 18:00, attendees can purchase cucuruchos, traditional paper cones filled with roasted chestnuts, for €3, which will include a choice of water or wine.
This initiative is organised by Os Asadores Burela, in collaboration with the Concello de Burela and the Sociedad Cultural y Recreativa Ledicia. Local authorities encourage residents to participate in this celebration that beautifully combines music, gastronomy, and cultural heritage.
