Miguel Díaz Brazales, the delegate for Economy, Business and Employment in Ciudad Real, has opened the 15th Entrepreneurship Forum at the Ciudad Real Chamber of Commerce. This event aims to discuss opportunities, challenges, and support tools for starting and consolidating businesses, with a particular emphasis on funding alternatives.
During his speech, Díaz Brazales highlighted the responsibility of public administrations to strengthen the business fabric by providing support and funding instruments that facilitate project development. He expressed gratitude for the involvement of the European Centre for Enterprises and Innovation (CEI), the Chamber of Commerce, and CaixaBank in organising a forum that brings together entrepreneurs and business stakeholders.
The provincial delegate explained that the Castilla-La Mancha government offers various support lines for individuals starting their own businesses. Among these are the Tarifa Plana Plus and grants for self-employed workers, designed to ease the initiation of activities and reduce costs associated with the early stages of a business.
Funding was another key focus of his address. Díaz Brazales referred to the public financial support instruments available in Castilla-La Mancha, including Aval Castilla-La Mancha, Sodicaman, and the Castilla-La Mancha Institute of Finance. These can complement private funding options and provide access to resources or guarantees necessary for launching, developing, or consolidating business projects.
He emphasised the importance of collaboration between administrations, financial entities, and business organisations to address the funding needs of entrepreneurs. Furthermore, he recognised the value of events like this for sharing information, understanding available resources, and fostering the exchange of experiences among those driving entrepreneurial initiatives.
It is worth noting that the 15th Entrepreneurship Forum is part of a series of meetings between entrepreneurs, institutions, and financial entities aimed at analysing funding possibilities, project needs, and existing resources to support their launch and sustainability.
