The performances of Don Juan Tenorio, traditionally held at the Palacio de la Merced in Córdoba, will be rescheduled to 31 October and 1, 2, and 3 November. This change comes in response to the mourning period declared by the provincial institution following a serious train accident in Toledo.
The session originally planned for 30 October has been moved to 3 November. The Delegation of Culture has informed all affected ticket holders via email, requesting that those unable to attend communicate their situation as soon as possible to cultura@dipucordoba.es or call 629463244 for ticket reassignment.
Don Juan Tenorio, a classic play by José Zorrilla, is performed by the Teatro Par Company under the direction of Antonio Barrios. This production, which has been staged for nearly thirty years, presents a romantic drama featuring dark settings, such as the cemetery scene in the Patio Blanco, the impossible romance between Doña Inés and Don Juan, duels between Tenorio and Don Luis, as well as mysteries and ghosts that come to life in the Palacio de la Merced, culminating in the triumph of love.
