The Centre d’Esports L’Hospitalet will visit the home ground of FE Grama this Sunday, determined to overcome their recent loss to Badalona and achieve their first away win of the season.
Last week’s defeat at the Estadio Municipal, where L'Hospitalet lost 0-2, has left a mark on the team, particularly due to their failure to score. This situation has prompted both players and coaching staff to engage in self-reflection.
Raúl Paje, the head coach of L’Hospitalet, acknowledged the challenging week following the loss. “It has been a long, tense, and difficult week due to the defeat against Badalona. We did not perform well, and we have recognised that. We have recharged our energy and are ready for the match against FE Grama,” he explained.
The team is aware of the need to improve their performance away from home. Paje views the upcoming match as an opportunity to assert their capabilities. “We need to deliver a complete performance, showcasing the best version of every player. We must demonstrate our character and show that we are contenders for promotion. Winning on Sunday will set things right,” he stated.
Player Albert López also emphasised the importance of treating every match equally, regardless of location. “We must aim to win every game, not just at home but also as visitors. We have a good opportunity this Sunday. Although FE Grama is a strong opponent and their ground is challenging, there should be no excuses,” he remarked.
Currently, the Centre d’Esports L’Hospitalet sits in fifth place in the league standings, within the promotion spots for Segunda Federación, and is just two points behind the leaders, Montañesa.
