The Estepona Town Hall has announced that on Tuesday, 27 October, the Library of Contemporary Cultures will host the literary presentation of 'A veces nadie' by author Casilda Sánchez Varela. The event will take place at 20:00 on the sixth floor of the library, located at Mirador del Carmen, and will feature Sánchez Varela, who is also the vice president of the Paco de Lucía Foundation.

In 'A veces nadie', Sánchez Varela embarks on a delicate and powerful journey to understand solitude. Admission to the presentation is free until capacity is reached. Prior to the event, Sánchez Varela will lead a literary workshop titled 'La literatura que nos salva. Lecturas esenciales sobre la soledad, el duelo y la esperanza' alongside cultural manager Violeta Dávila. This workshop will begin at 18:00 and is also free, although prior registration is required via email at bcc@estepona.es.

Additionally, the Library of Contemporary Cultures will host a recital titled 'No me quiero ir a casa todavía. Unos poemas y unos bailes en la BCC' by writer and stage creator Violeta Gil on Wednesday, 28 October at 20:00. This event will also be open to the public until full capacity is reached. Violeta Gil is the founder of the theatre company La Tristura, which has performed at Teatros del Canal from 2017 to 2020 and has toured stages in cities such as Paris, Rio de Janeiro, and Hamburg.
