Reus promotes its vermouth at the Barcelona gastronomic forum

From 2 to 4 November, Reus Promoció will be present at the Barcelona Gastronomic Forum, a key event in the hospitality, gastronomy, and foodservice sectors, taking place this year at the Gran Via venue of the Fira de Barcelona. The forum is set to feature the largest exhibition in its history, with over 5,000 companies participating, representing a 10% increase compared to 2025.

The event will also bring together Michelin-starred chefs from Catalonia, aiming to highlight the New Catalan Cuisine as a globally recognised culinary movement. Reus Promoció will have its own stand dedicated to the Vermut de Reus brand, offering information and tastings of various vermouths, including Miró, Iris, Yzaguirre, Rofes, Cori, Olave, Fot-li, and Or del Camp.

This participation allows Reus Promoció to showcase the various activities that are part of the Vermut Route of Reus and the tourist brand GaudíReus to an audience specialised in gastronomy. The forum serves as a significant business platform that connects talent, products, and innovation, creating opportunities and projecting the creative and competitive strength of the sector.

Throughout the three days of the forum, attendees will have the chance to discover and taste a wide variety of products, ranging from traditional to avant-garde offerings. Additionally, the event will feature prominent international culinary professionals, some of whom are well-known media figures, conducting workshops and conferences.

This initiative is part of the action plan of Reus Promoció for 2026, aligned with the objectives of the Strategic Plan and the Municipal Action Plan, with the aim of "enhancing the positioning of Reus as the capital of vermouth and promoting the Vermut de Reus brand among a primarily professional and gastronomy-focused audience."
