Contemporánea Condeduque, a cultural space under the Madrid City Council's Department of Culture, Tourism and Sport, will host several festivals in November. Highlights include the Festival de Otoño in theatre, JAZZMADRID in music, and 'Mi primer festival de cine', part of the 'Pantallas + cultura expandida' initiative.
The programme will also feature debates, an exhibition, and a variety of events that cater to diverse audiences and encompass all forms of contemporary performing arts.
Theatre and contemporary dance
Among the theatrical offerings, Contemporánea Condeduque will premiere several productions in Madrid: Deserto by Luis Felipe Reis (11-13 November), Mi madre y el dinero by Anacarsis Ramos (17-18 November), El corazón de Ester by Alberto Cortés (20-22 November), and Contra Antígona by Andrea Jiménez (26 November - 5 December). These performances are part of the 44th edition of the Festival de Otoño de la Comunidad de Madrid.
Music
Music lovers can look forward to concerts by Erik Truffaz & Antonio Lizana, presenting New Sketches of Spain on 12 November, and Antonio Serrano and Kaele Jiménez Quartet with Jazz CaLó For Coltrane on 27 November, both included in the JAZZMADRID 2026 programme.
Visual arts
The artist Juan López will inaugurate the exhibition Las frecuencias altas (18 November - 31 January 2027), which invites a dialogue with the city through sound, image, and sculpture, taking place in the Sala de Bóvedas.
Cinema and expanded culture
November will also see the 19th edition of Mi primer festival de cine, featuring film screenings, concerts, and workshops every weekend throughout the month.
Science and art
A life-size replica of the Voyager 1 probe will be displayed in the Sala de Bóvedas from 1 to 18 November, as part of the festival A un día luz, which celebrates science and music related to Voyager 1 on 18 November.
Thought and literature
The Pensamiento y literatura segment will host a discussion titled Sin mirar a un lado, sin taparse los oídos, sin guardar silencio, featuring Rita Segato, a prominent voice in Latin American critical thought and an emeritus professor at the University of Brasília.
Engagement and reading clubs
Young audiences will continue to benefit from POM Condeduque, a versatile space transformed into a 21st-century dance hall, aimed at supporting youth in their professional development in dance. Additionally, children and young people can participate in the monthly reading club Cómics, álbumes ilustrados y juegos de mesa de no ficción, led by writer and journalist Sofía Caruncho, which explores contemporary themes and cultural history. A special session on 27 November will focus on El piano Oriental by Zeina Abichared in the Ensayos Gráficos reading club with Javier Olivares.
