El Plan del Jueves is making a comeback in Aranjuez, bringing together gastronomy, culture, and solidarity through a new series of eight events scheduled between November 2026 and June 2027 at the Sala Farinelli in the Teatro Real Carlos III. This initiative is organised by the Juanjo Torrejón Foundation and the Aranjuez Hospitality, Hotel, Restaurant, and Leisure Association (AHERO), in collaboration with the Aranjuez City Council.
The first edition of this event, held in 2019, was met with great enthusiasm, selling out all six of its gatherings. The format remains unchanged: each event will feature a specially crafted tapa from one of the participating hospitality establishments, a selected wine from a collaborating winery, and a live musical performance.
Tickets are priced at 10 euros, with proceeds going towards supporting the social inclusion projects run by the Juanjo Torrejón Foundation for vulnerable individuals. This edition will include local establishments such as Casa Delapio, Casa José, Almíbar Gastrobar, Rama Wine Bar, Cuarenta, Aguatinta, and Casa Pablo. Additionally, wineries such as Bodegas Peral, Bodegas Figueroa, Bodegas y Viñedos Casa del Valle, Cooperativa de Noblejas, and Bodegas El Regajal will also be involved.
The musical programme will feature performances from artists including Mayum, Sospechosos Vecinos, Vaya Fama, Flores del Infierno, B-Touch, and Wellington Ferreira, among others. The inaugural event is scheduled for Thursday, 19 November, at 20:00, in the Sala Farinelli of the Teatro Real Carlos III. The opening night will showcase a gastronomic offering from Casa Delapio, a wine from Bodegas y Viñedos Casa del Valle, and a live performance by the group Mayum.
Subsequent gatherings will take place on the third Thursday of each month from November to June. Tickets are already available at the box office of the Teatro Real Carlos III in Aranjuez. El Plan del Jueves revives a concept that successfully united the hospitality, cultural, and social fabric of the city in 2019, providing residents and visitors with an opportunity to enjoy gastronomy and music while contributing to a charitable cause.
