Pedro Antonio Ruiz Santos, the delegate of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha in Albacete, participated in an inclusive hiking route for individuals with intellectual disabilities on 22 October in the municipality of Lezuza. This initiative, promoted by the Department of Social Welfare, aims to encourage participation, coexistence, and enjoyment of nature through an inclusive activity linked to the historical and cultural heritage of the province.

The event was centred around the itinerary of the Archaeological Site of Libisosa and attracted 95 participants from various associations and social entities, including Desarrollo-Autismo, Asprona, and Amiab. Additionally, 25 members of the Lezuza Senior Citizens Association joined the event.

At the end of the hike, Ruiz Santos expressed his satisfaction with the day's activities, emphasising the importance of such events in fostering shared experiences, promoting coexistence, and enjoying the natural and cultural surroundings in a participatory space where everyone has a place.

Following the hike, attendees engaged in various activities at the Agripina Sociocultural Centre, including a tour of the facilities and a lunch during which videos about the Archaeological Site of Libisosa were screened. The day's programme concluded with a guided visit to the site, allowing participants to connect with the history and archaeological heritage of Lezuza in a spirit of shared participation and community.
