The Strengthening Public Service Programme in Latin America, backed by the Botín Foundation and Círculo Orellana, has once again made a stop in Castilla-La Mancha. This year, 32 participants in the 27th edition of the programme had the opportunity to explore examples of public management within the regional administration, focusing on areas such as tourism, innovation, and internationalisation. The event took place at the Mezquita de Tornerías.
Arantxa Pérez, the general director of Tourism, Commerce and Crafts, welcomed the 32 young participants, who were selected from over 22,400 applications. These individuals have received training related to public service across more than ten countries.
Pérez also participated in one of the discussion panels during the event, alongside Charo Serrano, the managing director of Innocam, and Paloma Sánchez, the director of the Institute for Foreign Promotion (IPEX) of Castilla-La Mancha.
The programme aims to encourage some of the best university students in the region to direct their talents towards public service, promoting integrity, a commitment to service, and dedication to the common good, as outlined in the programme's objectives.
