The councillor for culture in Talavera de la Reina, Enrique Etayo, has unveiled plans for the sixth international congress on violence awareness, organised by the Ser Move Talavera association in collaboration with the Faculty of Social Sciences in Talavera de la Reina and the Faculty of Law in Albacete, part of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM).
This congress is scheduled for 17 November at the UCLM in Talavera de la Reina, with the goal of addressing various forms of violence and creating a positive impact within the community. During a press conference, Etayo was joined by María Ángeles Satrústegui, president of Sermove Talavera, and Dr Abraham Buitrago Arenas.
Etayo emphasised that “this partnership aims to establish the congress permanently at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, thereby consolidating its presence within the academic sphere.”
The sixth congress will feature four significant discussion panels: the first will focus on gender violence and vicarious violence; the second will address family violence dynamics; the third will explore bullying and cyberbullying in the digital age; and finally, the fourth panel will discuss workplace violence, including institutional violence.
