Viajes Getura is celebrating its tenth anniversary at the Las Redes shopping centre. The agency, managed by José Luis Velázquez, is known for its personalised approach and 24-hour destination service, ensuring clients can travel with complete peace of mind.
Manuela Pérez, the delegate for Economic Development and Sustainable Tourism, visited the Viajes Getura facilities in Urbisur to mark this milestone. Next week, the agency will receive an award from the Senator chain for having the highest sales in the province of Cádiz.
Over the past decade, the company has built its reputation on its expertise in various destinations and its tailored service to help clients find the perfect trip at the right price. “Viajes Getura is consolidating its position as a reference company in the sector,” Pérez highlighted, noting that Velázquez is also the president of the Association of Travel Agencies in Cádiz province.
The agency caters to various sectors, including individuals, educational institutions for end-of-year trips, and even the local council, organising excursions to Isla Mágica for the Day of Chiclana in summer and Halloween events.
Pérez emphasised the importance of having companies like Viajes Getura, where anyone can seek advice for their desired travel plans. “I congratulate José Luis and his team on these ten years and encourage them to continue improving,” she expressed.
In response, Velázquez thanked the Chiclana City Council for its ongoing support of local businesses, particularly for the numerous activities they have organised. “Viajes Getura is celebrating ten years since opening its first office, although next year we will mark 20 years as a company,” he stated. “We offer all types of travel, being one of the first in Cádiz province to specialise in honeymoons, but we also cater to all kinds of requests.”
Additionally, Velázquez noted that they are part of the provincial travel agency employers' association (UPAVCA), which signifies a quality assurance, complying with all current regulations regarding travel. He encouraged the residents of Chiclana to continue trusting local travel agencies, including Viajes Getura.
