The local government of Vigo has announced plans to enhance its night bus service in preparation for the Samaín celebrations on 31 October. This year, the frequencies of three night bus lines will be doubled to accommodate the expected increase in passengers.
Line C1 will operate every 15 minutes, while line N1 will run every 25 minutes and line N4 every 40 minutes. The service will utilise articulated buses to increase capacity, responding to the high demand anticipated during this festive period.
Last year, more than 3,700 people took advantage of the special night service, confirming its effectiveness in ensuring a safe and convenient return home for those celebrating. This initiative reflects the Concello de Vigo's commitment to providing efficient public transport tailored to the needs of its citizens during one of the busiest nights of the year.
