Over 400 people attended the fourth edition of Vinàlia, a wine tasting event, held at the Roman Theatre of Alcúdia. The event featured the mayor of Alcúdia, Fina Linares, along with the councillor for festivities, Àngela Amer, and the councillor for citizen participation, Azahara Machado, who were joined by other members of the local council.
This year's event had a significant charitable focus, with €10 from each ticket sold being donated to DEBRA, a charity dedicated to supporting individuals affected by epidermolysis bullosa, a rare skin condition. This cause is particularly relevant to the local community, highlighted by the story of Olivia and her family.
Vinàlia showcased eight local wineries: Can Fumat, Jaume Puntiró, Vinya Taujana, Bodegas Bordoy, Vidal Serra, Karretània, Butxet, and 7103 Petit Celler, each offering a selection of their wines. The event was complemented by canapés made from local produce, inspired by Mallorcan cuisine, and live music from Gotmar Jazz Trio enhanced the atmosphere.
The Alcúdia Town Hall expressed gratitude to the participating wineries, collaborating businesses, and the more than 400 attendees who contributed to the event's charitable goal. The fourth edition of Vinàlia successfully combined wine culture, local gastronomy, and support for a cause closely tied to Alcúdia.
