The Andorran government has announced a funding allocation of 1.4 million euros for the current season to support school skiing initiatives. This investment aims to encourage participation in skiing among school-aged children and young people in the region.
As the Fira d'Andorra la Vella kicks off, ski passes will be available for purchase starting Friday. For school students, the cost of a ski pass will be approximately 184 euros, while university students will pay 257.50 euros. Additionally, a new rate of 57 euros per hour will be introduced for specialist instructors catering to students with disabilities.
The daily school ski pass is set at 13 euros per student, with an hourly rate of 5.70 euros for instructor services. This update in pricing reflects current service costs and consolidates improvements made in recent years, including an increase in monitoring hours initiated last season.
Ski passes can be purchased until 4 April 2027, available online, at the Grandvalira Resorts stand located at Illa Carlemany during the Fira d'Andorra la Vella from Friday to Sunday, and at designated ticket offices at the ski resorts.
This initiative is part of a collaboration agreement with the Andorran Association of Mechanical Ski Lift Operators (AERMEHA) and aims to continue promoting skiing as a sport closely linked to the identity and traditions of Andorra.
