The Lleida Tourism Board and the Catalan Journalists' Association have officially launched the 37th edition of the Pica d'Estats International Tourism Award, which offers a total prize fund of €48,000. This prestigious award aims to honour the best journalistic contributions related to tourism in the Pyrenees and the Terres de Lleida.
Entries are invited for works published or broadcast between 1 October 2025 and 30 September 2026, with the submission period open throughout October. The award is open to journalists across various media, including print, radio, television, and digital platforms.
The Pica d'Estats award seeks to promote tourism in the Lleida region by highlighting its tourist, scenic, socioeconomic, cultural, and gastronomic values. It is a significant international reference in the field of tourism journalism.
