Toledo, October 10, 2026 - The 45th edition of the Crafts Fair of Castilla-La Mancha, known as FARCAMA, has crossed its midpoint and is gearing up for a promising weekend, with expectations of high attendance and encouraging visitors to buy local craftsmanship.
Arantxa Pérez, the General Director of Tourism, Commerce and Crafts, visited the fair this morning, particularly the international sections and workshops, including the II Pottery Competition held as part of FARCAMA. “We are enjoying wonderful weather and hope for a weekend with a large influx of visitors and significant spending to benefit the artisans present at FARCAMA,” she stated.
Pérez highlighted various activities scheduled for today, ranging from the 'Build Your Own Knife' workshop in collaboration with APRECU, to the II Pottery Competition, along with demonstrative and participative workshops, music in the leisure and dining area, and concluding with a new edition of FARCAMA Suena featuring Vermú, Siloé, and Ultraligera tonight at the Plaza de Toros.
She also mentioned the positive feedback from artisans exhibiting at the fair and expressed hope that the weekend would see a significant increase in attendance, especially since this year the fair is extended by an extra day due to the holiday on October 12.
During her visit, Pérez toured the stands and exhibitions of artisans from the guest country of this edition, Greece, with a focus on Cretan craftsmanship, as well as artisans from Portugal's Ribatejo region.
The 45th edition of FARCAMA will remain open until Monday, October 12, from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Parque de la Vega in Toledo, featuring 156 exhibitors, 81 of whom are local artisans from Castilla-La Mancha, alongside international artisans from seven countries.
