Castillo del terror returns to consuegra with apocalyptic theme

The Cultural Association of the Medieval Battle of Consuegra is preparing for a new edition of the Castillo del Terror event, titled "DIES IRAE, EL FIN DE LOS DÍAS". This immersive experience will take place on 30 and 31 October at the iconic Castillo de Consuegra, a medieval fortress located in the province of Toledo.

Participants will step into a narrative where the character of Father Azarquías foresees the signs of the apocalypse. As the seals are broken and horsemen ride forth, the castle transforms into the last refuge for the damned. Attendees will traverse the darkened halls of the castle, playing the role of peasants fleeing the Black Death, seeking sanctuary within the fortress's walls.

Within the castle, they will discover that its inhabitants have been isolated for too long, facing threats that extend beyond mere death.
