The CatArte festival is set to celebrate its twelfth edition this November, bringing together wine, music, and a commitment to charity. The event will be held at the Marcos Valcárcel Cultural Centre on the 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th of November, showcasing various wineries from the D.O. Ribeiro region.
Organised by the C.R.D.O. Ribeiro and the Marcos Valcárcel Cultural Centre, CatArte aims to create a cultural experience that combines wine tasting with musical performances while supporting a charitable cause. Each of the four events will offer attendees a unique opportunity to enjoy local wines alongside live music.
Event schedule
The first event on 5 November will feature the wineries Casal do Canteiro and Pousadoiro, accompanied by a musical performance from Iago Vázquez. On 12 November, the C.R.D.O. Ribeiro will present its institutional wines in a session hosted by Lois Alonso, a presenter from the Galician television programme Luar. The following week, on 19 November, Casal de Armán will perform alongside the band Soul&Roll, while the festival will conclude on 26 November with Bodega Alanís, featuring DJ Álvaro Alonso.
Each event will also include a selection of gastronomic snacks to complement the wine tasting experience.
Supporting a charitable cause
Throughout its twelve editions, CatArte has focused on fostering a connection between wine culture and music, creating a space for community engagement where attendees can discover wines, enjoy music, and share experiences. This year, the festival will once again prioritise its charitable dimension, with proceeds from ticket sales going to the Diego González Rivas Foundation, which supports humanitarian efforts.
Tickets for the events are priced at €9, reaffirming CatArte's commitment to an open, participatory, and charitable culture where wine and music serve as a meeting point for enjoyment and support of a good cause.
