This Saturday, 24 October, La Pollina Municipal Centre will become a ghost town for the tenth edition of the traditional Family Halloween Festival, marking the start of the spooky celebrations in Fuenlabrada. The event is free and aimed at children and their families, featuring the latest trends in entertainment and activities.
From 11:00 to 18:00, attendees can immerse themselves in this eerie village, which will host a variety of activities including haunted passages, workshops, performances, and concerts. This initiative, now a staple of the municipality's Halloween programme, is organised by the Department of Youth and Childhood in collaboration with the Arbifuenla Association.
Javier González, the councillor for Youth and Childhood, has invited everyone to participate in “a different day, where fear gives way to laughter, costumes, and community. It’s an opportunity to enjoy an immersive experience designed for both young and old.”
Additionally, local teenagers will have their own Halloween celebration. The Youth Space La Plaza will host the ONFuenla Terror Party on Friday, 23 October, aimed at young people born between 2011 and 2014. From 17:30 to 20:30, participants can enjoy music, DJs, spooky decorations, and plenty of surprises. This event is also free and includes a complimentary soft drink.
On Saturday, two more Halloween parties will take place in the Loranca-Nuevo Versalles-Parque Miraflores district. Family-friendly activities and a haunted passage will start at 17:00 at the Loranca Cultural Centre and at 18:00 at the Parque Miraflores Cultural Centre. Furthermore, various local children’s and youth associations will organise haunted passages starting this Friday, with Halloween programming continuing through the following weekend.
