The Ceuta Department of Education, Culture and Youth is set to celebrate the Ceuta Jazz Festival on 13 and 14 November at the Teatro Auditorio del Revellín, showcasing performances by kiko berenguer quartet and morgan.

The festival will kick off on Friday, 13 November, at 21:00 with a performance by kiko berenguer quartet, led by one of the most prominent saxophonists of his generation. The group’s musical style blends jazz and flamenco, characterised by rhythmic strength, expressiveness, and a fusion of various cultural influences. Berenguer has an extensive national and international career, having shared the stage with notable musicians such as Richie Cole, Dennis Rowland, Madeline Bell, and Michel Camilo. He has also participated in prominent festivals and serves as the artistic director of the international Xàbia Jazz festival.

On Saturday, 14 November, at 20:30, the stage will be taken by morgan, a band based in Madrid known for its unique mix of rock, soul, and pop. Formed by Carolina de Juan, Paco López, Ekain Elorza, and David Schulthess, the group has established a solid reputation since releasing their debut album, North, in 2016. This was followed by Air (2018), The River and the Stone (2021), and Hotel Morgan, an album that showcases the band’s musical evolution and maturity. Throughout their career, morgan has performed at numerous venues and participated in significant musical events, including a concert at the WiZink Center in Madrid with the Golden Family in a big band format in January 2023.

Tickets for both concerts went on sale this week, available at the Teatro Auditorio del Revellín box office and online. A pass for both performances is priced at 18 euros, while individual tickets are 11 euros for kiko berenguer quartet and 12 euros for morgan. Regular discount rates are available for large families, children aged 2 to 13, seniors over 60, holders of the Carné Joven, individuals with disabilities, and the unemployed, who will receive a one-euro discount on individual tickets. Additionally, individuals with disabilities who do not require a seat will have access to a designated area with space for three wheelchairs and can benefit from a 50% reduction in ticket prices. These tickets must be purchased exclusively at the box office.
